Red Crystal Shrimp

Native to the swamps and streams of Japan and Asia, the Red Crystal Shrimp requires an established freshwater aquarium or pond of at least 20 gallons. The Red Crystal Shrimp is an omnivore that consumes algae, detritus and left over food. If insufficient food is present, supplement with a quality flake food or pellet. Crystal Red shrimp are HIGHLY prone to nitrate poisoning and they need good water to maintain good health and molting.
